Helpful Tips When Requesting Parts

At Murrays, we want to make sure you get the right part the first time. To do that, we need as much information as possible about your vehicle, the repair you are making and the parts that are needed.

Here is a list of basic information that will be helpful when you contact us to order a part:

  • Year, make, model, trim and VIN of your vehicle.
  • If this is relating to an engine issue, we may need to know the type/size of the engine (ex: V6, 2.0L 4cyl.)
  • The type of part you are looking for as specific as possible.
  • If there are any numbers listed on the part you are replacing, please have those handy. While they may not always be the numbers we need, any information is helpful.
  • If all else fails, bring the part with you (if small enough or able to) to the dealership and we will be glad to help you identify the part you need.
