Do you like a lower monthly payment and lower down payment?
Often times a lease can carry a lower monthly payment and down payment requirements making a newer vehicle more affordable. However, your lease amount can vary by credit rating.
Do you typically drive over 12,000 miles/year?
If yes, then you would be better suited with purchasing your next vehicle. Typical lease terms only allow for 10,000-12,000 miles per year and you can incur additional costs at the end of your lease term if you go over these milage limitations.
Would you consider yourself hard on your vehicle, putting lots of wear and tear on the inside or outside or do you like to customize your vehicle with aftermarket parts & accessories?
If yes, then purchasing a vehicle would be better for your needs. Lease terms often carry charges for excessive wear and many restrict the modifications on a vehicle.
